Round Work Bag

CUT two pieces of linen (white or colored) 7 3/4 inches in diameter. Face each one 2 inches deep and join seams. Bind outside edges with linen and work row of spaces around edges, join. * 2 s in sp, 1 s in d, 2 s in sp, 1 s in d, 2 s in sp, 1 s in d, ch 5, p, ch 5, p, ch 5, p, repeat from * around bag. Make handle 18 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide. Finish edges same as bag. This bag is very convenient to hang on arm while crocheting or knitting, and a hole made in the back of bag and finished with a buttonhole stitch will be found very useful to pass the thread through, keeping the ball in the bag. The decoration is worked with three shades of pink, one of green and black, in silk or Pearl Cotton.
