USE linen 14 inches long and 12 inches wide, allowing 1/2 inch for seams; sides 10 1/2 inches. Work a row of d with 2 ch between around bag. Cut fringe 4 inches long and tie into spaces across bottom of bag.
For the patchwork design use colored linen or gingham, two shades of pink and one of green. Buttonhole stitch around edge of design to finish, using Art. 1117 Woolco Cross Stitch Embroidery Cotton. Large knitting needles may be used for the rods or brass curtain rods with brass ends 8 1/2 inches long
