loop of thread through back of gr of 7 d; this forms a pocket or pop corn; ch 5, 7 d, 1 sp, 7 d, ch 5 and make another pocket. After making the last pocket join to 2nd st of 1st 7 ch, ch 7.

The clones knots are made by making a ch of 3; thread over hook, under hook, over hook; repeat until there are 10 loops on hook; thread over hook and draw through all the loops at the same time, 1 s in 1st ch, to fasten.
